A European parliamentary team has visited refugee camps of Rohingyas, situated in CoxsBazar district of Bangladesh headed by Jane Lambat.The team toured both registered and unregistered refugee camps. The delegation consisted of 12 members.
After visiting the refugee camps physically the team returned to Dhaka and chief of the delegation Jane Lambat disclosed to the journalists in a news briefing that Rohingyas have no citizenship of any country and their safe guaranteed is needed. They deserve human rights and an accurate list is a must. She also added that the unregistered refugees are larger than registered refuges and all refugees must be enlisted for their protections.

EU representative to Bangladesh Stafen Flaim urged the concerned authority to be enlisted all refugees so that the number of Rohingyas in Bangladesh could be confirmed and EU will cooperate in this regards. He also mentioned that EU is sharing cooperating with UN and UNHCR to upgrade and uplift the situation of Rohingyas Refugees. EU is unable to create pressure on Myanmar due to its lack of diplomatic relation with Burma but Bangladesh is carrying its diplomatic channels with Burma to solve the problem. Not long ago Burma denied to recognize Rohingyas as its citizen but recently the junta has shifted and a bit changed its policy towards Rohingyas.
The Rohingya issue has become now a regional issue and not contains a bilateral one. So ASEAN has to create pressure on Burma in the context of Rohingya problem.Lambat moreover said that every citizen wants to stay in his or her own country but the persecution perpetrated my military rulers in Burma compelled Rohingyas to flee from their homeland Arakan and she undoubtedly mentioned that Rohingyas are not economic refugees rather political refugees.
